This is a thread that was made in early 2006 when SM announced that they were going to release a brand new girl group. This was the soon to be the girl group we all know and love, So Nyuh Shi Dae. It was in it’s very early stages though, when SNSD was going to have 11 members and have the name Super Girls.

Looking through the pages of the thread and seeing how much people doubted this group of girls, I can’t help but smile and chuckle a bit. Look how far they’ve come.

But there is just so much hate and doubt in that thread. So many people thought SM was desperate. So many people thought 9 girls was too many. So many people thought that they wouldn’t have talent. So many people thought they were fake. So many people didn’t think they’d get far.

So many people were proven wrong.

I’d like to see what they think of So Nyuh Shi Dae, Korea’s National Girl Group, now.

Just looking at this again…wow.
